One of the mid mannered and less talkative music director Vijay Bharathi suffering from ailment breathed his last on Sunday night at Chennai. He suffered severe low BP and low sugar at the end stage. At the audio release of Kannada film ‘Tale Bachkolli Podwer Hakolli’ on March 1, Vijaya Bharathi did not turn up because of his indisposition.


A respected music director Vijaya Bharathi of Kannada films CID ESha, Yellallu Neene Nannallu Neene, Silence, Manmatha, Padri (Tulu) and yet to be released Kannada film ‘Tale Bachkolli Powder Hakolli’ in Kannada was 45 years of age. He leaves behind wife, two sons in the family. His father Shanmugam was also music director.


Vijay Bharathi scored music for Tamil film ‘Nai Kutty’. May his soul rest in peace!
